1. Connect to the Magento server's console log using SSH.
  2. Install the PieEye extension using the composer required <module_name>:<version> command. If you require a specific version other than the latest release, include the version number in the command. For example: pieeye/module-cookiesolution:1.0.0 (This is a dummy example for reference).
  3. If requested, use the Marketplace Public Key for login and Private key for password and Please note that purchasing the extension is required to proceed with the installation via composer.
  4. Once the extension is installed, verify its status using the command: sudo bin/magento module:status.
  5. The extension should have a "disabled" status. Enable it using the command: sudo bin/magento module:enable <extension_name> and then register it with sudo bin/magento setup:upgrade.
  6. If your store is in production mode, compile the build with sudo bin/magento setup:di:compile.
  7. Verify that the PieEye extension is active again with sudo bin/magento module:status. If it is active, clear the cache using: sudo bin/magento cache:clean.

Configuration

  1. If everything proceeds smoothly, you should be able to configure the extension by navigating to Stores -> Configuration -> PIEEYE -> Cookie Consent and DSR.

  2. Choose "Yes" to enable the extension.

  3. Click on the "Save Config" button.

  4. Under "Plugin Features," locate the PieEye Web app. Click on it, and it will take you to the PieEye signup page.

  5. Sign up for PieEye.

  6. After your workspace is created, choose your preferences in the Cookie Banner Settings pop-up and activate the banner on your website.

  7. After completing the steps, return to the Magento Admin panel, refresh the page, and you should see the script. Click the "Save Config" button to activate the banner on the website.
