Dialog list screen
- To view all DIALOGS, go to the Dialogs tab or Click on the domain name from the Domain screen, by default dialog created gets displayed
- To ADD NEW DIALOG, click on Add new dialog button
- To UPDATE DIALOG, click on the dialog name or click on the edit icon
- Multiple dialogs are to be created to set up banners for different countries.
- Here you can view the
- impressions - The impressions should be the number of times the banner was viewed by distinct users.
- User consented -The user consented should be the number of consents that were given by the users of the type allow selection/allow all.
- User rejected - The User Rejected should be the count of people who had given consent to only strictly necessary cookies
- Conversions - Ratio of consents to total impressions for domain
- Toggle - to activate/inactivate a banner.
- Filter - To filter out the dialogs by date, click on the calendar to select the start date and end date.
- Delete selected dialogs - To Delete selected dialogs, select multiple dialogs and Click on Delete selected dialogs.
To Configure Content
- Here you can configure all the content
- Language: by default English language is selected.
- Dialog name: Name of the dialog. The name of the dialog would be set up in the dialog name field
- Dialog heading: the heading in my banner
- Dialog body text: body text of the banner
- Buttons: 4 buttons Allow Necessary Only, Allow All, Allow Selection & Preferences with the checkbox Show to display on the banner if ticked & not to display on the banner if unticked.
- Links: the links section should contain the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy section to add privacy and cookie policy with the checkbox Show to display on the banner if ticked & not to display on the banner if unticked.
- Additional Settings - Options to modify your dialog.
- Add Tab: This section allows the user to add an additional tab as needed
- Category name and Description - Each category name and the associated description can be editable (this information shall be presented on the Cookie Declaration tab as presented in the preview)
- Restore Default - Clicking on this will revert the Category name and Description to their default value.
- Preview - The preview of the banner is automated and will change as per the change in the text by the user
To Configure Dialog
- Here you can configure the dialog
- Template - By default “Basic” is selected.
- Position - The banner can be set on Top or Bottom.
- Checkboxes default mode - The checkboxes should consist of the cookie categories unticked initially that the domain has.
- Logos - Upload an image to add a logo on the banner
- Theme - The theme of the banner can be chosen - Two options Light and Dark
- Desktop - Click here to design the desktop banner template
- Mobile - Click here to design the mobile banner template
- Templates - predefined templates can be used to configure the banner
- Advanced settings - Update the settings to modify the banner for desktop & mobile banners.
- Expand Preview - As the dialog configuration is done, the banner can be previewed by clicking on Expand Preview button
- Save Template - Click to save the defined template and the saved template will be displayed in the templates section.
To Configure Rule
- Select Method - The consent type to be selected explicit or implicit consent.
- Implied Consent - Website visitors ignoring the consent dialog automatically consents to all cookies by continued use of the website.
- Explicit Consent - The consent dialog keeps showing each page request until the website visitor has responded. In all keep showing the banner until some user action
- Add Do Not Sell or Share Personal Information - This option will be enabled when explicit consent is selected & if the Strictly Necessary cookie category exists.
- Geolocation - Set up the Geolocation rule for the dialog:
- Show this dialog to all users - Selecting this option means the global rule of the dialog. The consent dialog should be visible globally to all users.
- When managing geolocation, if one dialog for the domain has the show to all users clicked already, then when you configure other dialogs, that option is disabled.
- Choose manually who will see this dialog based on geolocation - Selecting this option means choosing manually countries. The consent dialog should be visible to users based on the countries.
- Cookie Banner Trigger - 2 options
- On Page Load - banner to be displayed when the page gets loaded
- On click event - By selecting this option, you will be showing this banner according to the event selected by the user.
- Consent Declaration - By selecting the option ‘Show Cookie Consent Declaration Option on Click Event’, Cookie consent declarations will be shown according to the event selected by the user.
- Save & Continue -
- If the script is injected into the website header, clicking on save & continue redirects the user to the domain screen with the status getting displayed as Connected
- If the script is not injected into the website header, clicking on Save & Continue redirects the user to the Connect your site page ****
Connect your site
- Add code to analyze your site - Copy this code to inject into the website header.
- Connect & Scan - Clicking on this checks whether the script has been injected into the website correctly or not
- Skip for now - Clicking on this means skipping to check whether the script has been injected into the website correctly or not. The user will be redirected to the domain screen with the status Not Connected
If the script is not injected into the website header, the message displays Oops…Failed to add your site and will be redirected to Script Connect popup with 3 options ****
- CONNECT AND SCAN AGAIN - Clicking on this will check whether the script has been injected into the website correctly or not.
- MANUALLY APPROVE - Clicking on this means manually approving that the script is injected. The user will be redirected to the domain screen with the status Connected
- Skip scan - Clicking on this means skipping to check whether the script has been injected into the website correctly or not. The user will be redirected to the domain screen with the status Not Connected
