Responsibilities

• Report directly to our head of technology.
• Work at backend levels of the stack, Java, Nodejs, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Take full ownership and responsibility for building shipping, and maintaining core PieEye features, end to end.
• Taking a thoughtful approach to decision making; balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results.
• Work with AWS.
• Commitment to high quality, asynchronous communication on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of total engineering experience
• Knowledge in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, object-oriented programming, modern software paradigms, and development best practices
• Ability to work autonomously and learn independently
• Basic understanding of AWS
• Familiar with Spring framework
• Have Java or NodeJs experience.
• Flexible and focussed on solutions
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Organized and self-sufficient
