Responsibilities

• Report directly to our head of technology.
• Work at frontend levels of the stack with expertise in React, Javascript, HTML, CSS.
• Take full ownership and responsibility for building shipping, and maintaining core PieEye features, end to end.
• Taking a thoughtful approach to decision making; balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results.
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews.
• Partner with product managers and designers to define feature specifications.
• Commitment to high quality, asynchronous communication on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of total engineering experience
• Knowledge of core JavaScript, libraries and frameworks.
• Experience building scalable software using React and/or other web frameworks on front-end.
• Expertise in HTML/CSS/SCSS and responsive web development.
• Ability to work autonomously and learn independently
• Basic understanding of AWS
